MOG Day 25 - Good Works
The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good.
We often think of good works as something we do: make bacon for an amazing youth pastor, buy Starbucks for the car behind us (especially if its a gray Chevy Traverse). But good works can also be something that you say.
Today's world is full of sarcasm. And I am the queen of sarcasm. I often have to stop myself from going too far so that I don't come across as negative. I'm usually just trying to be funny but when done too often, it can be damaging.
So for today's good deed --> BE AFFIRMING!
Try and go out of your way to say one positive thing to each person you speak to.
And if that means you take a vow of silence for the day so be it. The world is full of too many words (and yes I get the irony).
